Rick Mooney is a specialist in the Suzuki Method of Teaching, he has been active with the Suzuki Assocaition of the Americas, serving on the Board of Directors, on the Cello Commitee and writing for the American Suzuki Journal. This book assumes that the student is familiar with four basic thumb position finger patterns which it expands on.
