Rick Mooney is a specialist in the Suzuki Method of Teaching, he has been active with the Suzuki Assocaition of the Americas, serving on the Board of Directors, on the Cello Commitee and writing for the American Suzuki Journal.  He has been invited to teach at many institutes, conferences and workshops throughout the world including Australia.

This book is designed to give you a solid understanding of the four basic thumb position fingering patterns.  In the first part fo the book, each section deals with one pattern.  The pieces in the last section have a variety of patterns in them.  It will be up to you to figure out which ones to use!
