THE VIOLIN:
The Gliga II is hand crafted in Romanian workshops featuring flamed maple back, sides and neck and resonance spruce top. The body and scroll have rounded outline superior to the Gliga III. This violin has Ebony swiss style Pegs, Ebony Guarneri style chinrest and the Stradivari violin pattern has light to medium flame.
To produce the instruments potential in tone, response and playability, and to maintain a high standard of instruments this violin includes custom professional set-up.
THE CASE:
One of our most popular shaped cases; wood ply shell and loaded with features.
Exterior: Navy blue weather resistant case cover, adjustable back pack style straps, large external accessories pocket and side handle.
Interior: Cushioned green velour with padded suspension, 2 bow spinners, velcro neck restrainer, accessories compartment and blanket.
THE BOW:
Super strong Carbon-Fibre fully mounted bow by Articul.
THE ROSIN:
Light Amber Student Rosin included.
THE STRINGS:
Strings are upgraded to either Dominant Thomastik or Tonica Pirastro sets.
INCLUDES Professional Custom Set-up…
· the original bridge is replaced with a high grade French bridge.
· The Bridge and Sound post are re-adjusted and fitted
· The Nut is refined and pegs fitted.
· German Fine Tuners are added for duration and precision in tuning.
