THE VIOLIN:
Made by prize-winning luthiers under the supervision of Scott Cao and Guan Shang Chi. Both of these supervising luthiers have won a combination of over twenty international awards in tone and workmanship.
Scott Cao is listed among the best-known contemporary violin makers in the world. His instruments are currently in the hands of prominent soloists, professional players and collectors. For their tonal quality, Scott’s instruments are renowned, and are said to not only project a beautiful sound but are also aesthetically superior. With his now vast experience, Scott Cao makes a range of copies of many of the greatest Master violins from the last three centuries.
These violins feature excellent tone, choice wood, quality varnish and superior craftsmanship. They feature carved scroll, carved tops, back arching and beautifully applied hand-painted varnish The meticulous graduation of the top and back reward the player with a powerful and refined tone.
Due to the fine tone, pleasing appearance, and competitive price, they make excellent instruments.
THE CASE
FPS Shaped Violin Case. It has a wood ply shell with Navy blue weather resistant case cover, adjustable back pack style straps, large external accessories pocket and side handle. Inside it is Cushioned green velour with padded suspension, 2 bow spinners, velcro neck restrainer, accessories compartment and blanket.
THE BOW
FPS Student Bow. Brazil wood. Real Horsehair
THE ROSIN:
Light Amber Student Rosin included.
THE STRINGS:
Strings are upgraded to either Dominant Thomastik or Tonica Pirastro sets.
